Here is a great recipe for Tom Yum,
the classic Tai Soup. This recipe
calls for shrimp but feel free to
substitute chicken, calamari,
pork, beef or tofu!

Tom Yum


      2 Qts Chicken Stock
      1 t Minced Ginger
      1 6oz can Straw Mushrooms, drained, cut in half
      1 T Fish Sauce
      6 T Lime Juice
      3 T Chili Paste
      1 Clove Garlic, chopped
      1 T Lime Zest
      1 c Shrimp, peeled and de-veined, coarsely chopped
      2 T Cornstarch or Arrow Root in 1 T Water
      2 T Cilantro for Garnish
     1.      Preheat Bring stock to a simmer
     2.      Preheat Add mushrooms, fish sauce, lime juice, chili paste, garlic and lime zest, cook 2 minutes
     3.      Preheat Stir in Shrimp and bring to a boil
     4.      Preheat Combine starch and water and pour in to thicken
